The Valley of Flowers in India is one of the most exciting places to visit if you love to spend time with nature. This kind of beauty enchants people and helps them understand what endless beauty means. The place is in the Himalayan area of Uttarakhand. Visitors and locals come from around the world to enjoy its unique plants and animals. An Indian national park called Valley of Flowers National Park opened in 1982. It is in Chamoli, in the state of Uttarakhand, and is famous for the variety of native alpine flowers and the wide range of plants that grow there. The Asiatic black bear, the snow leopard, the musk deer, the brown bear, the red fox, and the blue sheep are just a few of the rare and endangered species in this area. Himalayan monal pheasants and other birds that live at high altitudes can be found in the park.
Walking to the Valley of Flowers takes about 17 km (10.5 mi). Joshimath is the closest big city. It is in Garhwal and is easily accessible by road from Haridwar and Dehradun, about 270 km (168 mi) south of Joshimath. From Delhi, one can take the train to Haridwar and then take a bus through Rishikesh to get to Govindghat. Govindghat is about 24 km away from another important place in Badrinath. From Delhi to Govindghat, which is about 500 km away and you can easily reach by road.
Valley of Flowers from Dehradun is open to everyone from June through the first week of October. It has the most beautiful rain scenery you will ever see. It makes you feel good mentally and emotionally. Valley of Flowers has a lovely name, and it smells great. The best time to go is during the rainy season, in July and August. There are also several tourist spots in this flower basket that everyone should see.
