Tiger Falls is a stunning waterfall situated in the mountainous region close to Chakrata, Uttarakhand. It is 26 km from Chakrata, 111 km from Dehradun, and 105 km from Mussoorie. The local terms for Tiger Fall are Keraao Pachad and Kailu Pachad. One of the best locations to visit in the Dehradun area is this. Tiger Falls is located on a private piece of land. Because tigers are frequently spotted visiting the cascade to slake their thirst for water, they are affectionately known as “Tiger Falls.” Pilgrims can bathe at the Bathing Ghat and visit the Sastha Temple.

Tiger Falls is a somewhat undeveloped tourist destination with a small visitor base. SUVs and large trucks should use the narrow, uneven path that leads from Chakrata to Tiger Fall. It is advised to bring adequate food and water with you, as there are no stores near the waterfall.
BEST TIME TO VISIT
The greatest time to visit Tiger Falls is never the same. More specifically, it depends on why you are visiting this place. If you want to experience its utmost magnificence, you have to come here between July and October, which is monsoon season. Summer is a safer time of year to engage in adventurous sports like water rappelling and trekking. (April-June). On the other hand, you can sit here in the winter (November to March) without feeling bothered by the intense heat of the sun.

By Air: Jolly Grand Airport is the nearest airport which is 116km away from spot.
By Train: Dehradun railway station is the nearest station which is 86km away from the spot.
By Road: Travellers can trek of 5km from Chakrata to reach Tiger Falls. Finding vehicles is tough at such remote area but if you can manage a cab or car, it will be a plus.
